← Practical AI for the built environment
About
A studio built on iteration.
Iterative Studio is an architecture and computational design practice working between Taiwan and the US. We pair traditional, licensed architectural practice with a headed AI workflow: AI works underneath the architect to test, refine, and optimize, while every decision stays in human hands. The result is buildings that live within their environment, and documents you can actually build from.
The Studio
Architecture that starts with the environment and ends in buildable documents.
What we design
- Zero-energy and sustainable homes
- Multi-unit residential and interior renovations
- Community structures and pavilions
- Parametric facades and computational systems
How we work
- Environment first: site, climate, and ecology shape the concept
- Computational design: editable geometry and readable parameters
- Headed AI: AI explores options, the architect decides
What you receive
- BIM models from concept through construction documents
- Details resolved for real construction, not just renderings
- Cost savings found through AI-assisted optimization
Where we work
- Based between Taiwan and the US
- Zero-energy homes delivered in Colorado
- Residential and interior work delivered in Taiwan
The Founder
An architect who builds the tools as well as the buildings.
Iterative Studio is led by its founder, a US-licensed architect with more than 18 years of practice across New York and Taiwan. The path runs from interiors and civic work at a top global practice, to leading BIM teams on museums, towers, and parametric facades, to founding a studio where AI is put to work under the architect's hand.Condensed CV →
That mix of licensure, research, and lived experience across cultures is the studio's real engine: buildings designed to live within their environment, and workflows designed to keep the architect in charge.
